Awesome Eyeball - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Awesome Eyeball - Lincoln Park Zoo

This here ostrich is eyeing you,
As you are stopping to eye me,
Here and now in Lincoln Park Zoo,
Eyeball to eyeball we do be.
I bet you stare at my eyeball,
And wonder just how big it is.
Let's say my eyeball is not small,
But you can't measure it - gee whiz!
And as you meander away,
I keep you in my eyeball sight.
Quite sharp in focus you do stay,
Till I eye something else - all right!

As for keeping who's bigger scores,
My eyeballs are bigger'n yours!
