Awe Poem by Daniel Rimero

Awe

The firemen had seen everything.
They knew what came.
They were ready for the worst.
But what came was even worse.
Calm turned into fear.
Paradise turned into hell.
Cars turned into burning graves.
People instantly turned
Into ashes.
And finally roar, creaks, sparks, thuds
Turned into bare silence.
