Awareness Poem by Amanda Shelton

The stars shooting across the sky leaving a trail of dust
Remembering memories of a long ago time.
When the earth was young and life has just began.
The journey is a long and hard trip.
Leaving thoughts of where and how?
As mankind would have it in their own minds eye.
And awareness not too far behind.
Our minds and bodies seek out a meaning and the spirit that lives in us all.
Leaving the wonder and aw in the end.
