Awakening



I saw flowers
unfurling elegance
their red cloaks
expanding
without feeling

I heard birds
chirping
their claws clinging
off tree limbs
eying everything

I felt wind
its silken whisper
rustling through leaves
swiftly transcending
to invisible nothing
