Awakening Poem by Ember Stardust

Awakening

Rating: 4.5

Black as a raven
Dark as night
Preparing for a bloody fight
Eyes like a cat
Stalking his prey
Fearing only the light of day
Cunning as a fox
Tricky as a snake
Waiting to arise and welcome his awake
Waiting for his revenge
So he can strike fear in the hearts
Of the ones who seek his end
But one who stops at nothing
knowing no such fear
How he craves to kill the one
Who can never shed a tear
The one one who caused his come
Will gift him with his end
And she will leave him with a brocken heart to mend
