Awaken The Dead Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Awaken The Dead

Revivals under great research
Although there’s none to see
We first should start within the church
To set the captives free

Sleepers should rise, get out of bed
God’s truth begin to speak
Within the church to walking dead,
Sitting at ease each week

Perhaps these words appear rude
Judgemental at the least
Soon, infant lambs, the devil’s brood
Will hunt out for the Beast

Open your eyes, don’t sit as dumb
While time remains today
Soon Jesus’ cloud will swiftly come
To sweep His bride away

When that day dawns, will you be one
Joining as bride life’s Groom
Life’s Lord, life’s King, The Father’s Son
Or face hell’s endless doom

Just look around your church dear friend
As Jesus did in Smyrna
Can on your faith, your life depend
As a true discerner

Are you selfless doing Heaven’s will?
Is God’s Holy Ghost your guide?
Can your services improve still?
More sheep to bring inside

If not! You also are sleeping
Let wisdom set you free
Beware lest angels come reaping
As the walking dead you see…..
