Awake my sleeping heart
find a love for me.
Someone I can hold
and set me free.
You have slept far too long
and let so many pass by.

find me someone
to care for, as I grow old.
To be there at my side
in times of happiness,
and in times of woe.

my sleeping heart
before it is too late.

I beg of thee.
