Avoided Like The Plague Poem by Matthew Petranovich

Avoided Like The Plague

</></>What can I say?
They avoid me like the plague,
and I don't know why, it seems very strange.
I never said a word, not even a hi,
by they refuse to walk by.
Is it a look in my eye?
I know I'm not perfect,
and I ain't no pervert,
so why do they choose not to intersect me?
They just keep choosing to avoid and reject me,
and obviously it's having a side affect.
I don't even want to connect,
with these peeps.
And I try so hard not to be a creep.
Why am I avoided like the plague?
I don't know,
the answer is really vague.

There's something in the air Maybe it's the smell That in advance does foretell A difference in habits Of the body one inhabits. Perhaps a bit of perfume Will suggest flowers in bloom And suddenly one will be The center of sociability. Then again, Does one really need those as a friend Who uses such as a measure Of those with whom they adventure. s
