Ave Maria Poem by RaShawn Ince

Ave Maria

when i had no where to go, you were there for me

you opened my eyes when i was lost and let me see

you guided me right when i didnt know which where to go

i came to the crossroads and you redirected my soul

i don't know where i would be if you werent there

id probably still be walking, but going no where

so all i will say before i go to sleep

is Ave Maria

tempted to do bad, but you made me do good

lost in the streets but you got me out the hood

you gave me clothes and shelter when i was cold

and when i had nothing, you turned water into gold

i once was sick and you made me well

you freed the faith in me and opened up its cell

so all i will say before i go to sleep

is Ave Maria

you made a sound mind when mine had went insane

and you created all the joy in a body full of pain

you cleansed my soul when defiled with unholy things

you birthed the son of God and all that the Lord brings

the esential peice in all my happiness

was you're love for me, with which i always felt blessed

so now and forever before i go to sleep

Ave Maria
