Autumn - By Amy Boothby - Age 10 Poem by Ernestine Northover

Autumn - By Amy Boothby - Age 10

Rating: 4.6

Look at the different coloured leaves,
Swaying gently with the breeze,
Lovely reds, browns and greens,
All waiting to fall from the trees.
When they leave they twist and turn,
Ready to join the masses of fern,
Landing softly on the ground,
You can taste the smell of autumn, all around.

I'm so happy to see Amy is back! I would love to know if she liked Hilda Conkling's work. Pretty poem, Amy!

Beautiful writing from a floral expert. The music of the poem echoes the sound of rustling and falling leaves.
