Autumn Poem by Christopher Tye

Autumn

Rating: 4.3

Autumn

A chill in the air as leaves fall,
Under cover of darkness Jack Frost makes his first visit,
Turning shades of brown and red trees know the time of year,
Under the trees fallen fruit for the next generation of life,
Mellowing colours in the countryside,
Now everything is slowing down ready for winter.
