Automne secret

Tu m'avais dit

Je serai de retour

A l'aube

Tu devais me délivrer

De mes soucis

Et donner du sang

Aux arbres

C'est l'automne

A présent le soleil ondoie

Et la rue s'anime d'unijambistes

Et de survivants

Les commerçants vendent

Et les enfants réclament

Je t'attends L'automne

Garde ses secrets

(English translation by Nicolas Fleurot -

Traduction en anglais par Nicolas Fleurot) :

Secret Autumn

You said

You'll be back

At dawn

You had to free me

From my worries

And give blood

To the trees

It's the autumn now

The sun undulates

And the streets come alive

Full of one-legged survivors

Traders sell

And children reclaim

I am waiting

The autumn

Keeps its secrets.
