August (An Acrostic) Poem by John Carter Brown

August (An Acrostic)

Rating: 5.0

As the draught blew in
Underneath the ragged-edged door, and
Gales raged outside,
Upturning the garden furniture,
Somehow a kind of peace and
Tranquility still prevailed within.
