Attica Square Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Attica Square

Attica Square

Attica Square in Greece is a shame

There are words
There are shouts
And also the plea

Whose are they and what for?

There are Afghans,
They are mankind
There are all kinds
All genders ‘Men, women also child’

Attica Square is sample

Africa, Middle East and Bengal

Whose are they and what for?

In Bible there’s a word many times
The same word is shining in Koran

‘Share with poor gift received from above’

That’s absent in the Square and White House.

No one talks of these things in LA at Oscar.

Whose are they and what for?
Whose are they and what for?
Whose are they and what for?

Attica Square this sample
Attica Square’s the shame

‘Give and share’ has long died.
The greed ‘Me, for me’ is alive.
That is a shame, what a shame!
