Attempt A Sonnet.. Poem by Mahima Prathaban

I Wanna write a sonnet now,
On this very hot n sunny day.
Have to start - I know not how,
Let me think - there should be a way..

Google google what's a sonnet?
Got the patterns to start right away.
Here is mine from city of Monett,
My 14 lines are here to stay.

Find the ending rhyming words,
For 3 4-line paras and 2 lines more.
Let your expression fly like birds,
Let the world see what's in store.

Writing poems is fun as you see..
