At The End There Is Peace Poem by Noah Body

At The End There Is Peace

A great author once said 'Death be not proud'
Right here and now I must proclaim aloud
Nay, it is not proud but is a final relief
Disregarding what ever is your belief
Whether waits beyond be it heaven or hell
Or nothing beyond the last toll of the bell
Life and death are but two sides of a coin
Each life owes a death by that they do join
A brief flash in the pan a life is a trial
So why should you look at death in denial
Grasp it and welcome it with wide open arms
For it is the final end of all life's harms
If there's nothing beyond and I just cease
Then at last I know that I will find peace
