At Nightfall

At Nightfall

My heart was full of hopelessness
High emotion of confusion.
I needed so much of true love to
Find me,
But what found me was something
Of another kind,
Radiating he was with a complete color
Of a rainbow at sunset.
When night fall he was my all,
I needed his calmness and his love
All the stress had been a very bad mess
I never had a man who loved me so true
During the day he gave me flowers,
I craved the heaven in his eyes,
Please, do come night fall and let me dance
In sweet romance,
Take me to my sweetheart why the moon
Is lit for two, before the wake of the day.
I want to kiss my prince that made me so bless,
Until there is no more daylight,
Sweet night fall, I am waiting for you I put
In my all for this love to stay true.

Poem of the Day

poet Oliver Wendell Holmes

Life is real, life is earnest,
And the shell is not its pen –
“Egg thou art, and egg remainest”
Was not spoken of the hen.

Art is long and Time is fleeting,
