I get a wish
In this age of forty
To look back the track
I have travelled so long so far
But I got the track
Under some unwanted cover
A little bit of it under the heavy mist
And the rest of it perhaps I forget
When I want to see ahead
The road appears like a snake
Dances at every corner
With darkness
The vision is blurred
Even the straight line pops up with threat
The present moment is neither better
Half is full half is empty
No bitterness
No content
But since you gone
I can say I am not happy
and I wait for you to come back
till then I rub my heart against the pen
Lovely poem Abdul, we all look back in our lives sometimes and there are moments we wish we can erase completely on our minds and there are those we wish we can re-live... We should look forward with hope and positiveness and just be happy we've come this far. Siya_! !
Waiting is painful but pen would help you to find a catharsis, as writing is catharsis to all woes and worries. You swing between pessimism and optimism.
gone is gone my dear, But we should remain happy as before And this is equanimity.

In retrospect we are much wiser. looking back we always think why didn't I? but that phase of life is over. and we must move on. nice observation
