Assurance Poem by Ben Henry Baang

Assurance

You're beautiful
But I can't tell that everyday
Negativity stops me
As a foe that blocks my way
Whenever I gave at you
I hope you feel the slightest bit
Of the candle fire dimly lit
Tell me do I get a chance?
To make you feel my assurance.
That I still and always will

Your friends pair me with you
Other friends pair me with her
There are a billion hers.
But there is only one you.
That I am so sure.
The love in the world is so impure
But that I am so sure.

Will I say goodbye?
To my friend, assurance
Will the last dance be
The last assurance
Tell me do I get a chance
To make you feel my assurance
That I still and always will.
