Asset Within My Soul Poem by Bonnie Collins

Asset Within My Soul

Rating: 3.3

Cascades of happy moments
sailed through my heart as I
recalled evey moment that
we laughed, cried, and held
on to each other, those moments
will stay in my vault of untouchables
for a lifetime

We have so much to be thankfull for
actually, as we had each other during
such a wonderfull time in each of our
lives, I think going through the bad, inwhich
tourmented each of us to the point of
non returnable NO Refund, all sales,
like our love FINAL

Bitter/sweet memories I think are made
of elements of this nature, so strong and
powerfull that nothing can erase its stain
Loving you is trully the biggest asset within
my soul.........

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

An expression of genuine passion & poignancy, rings loud & clarion, in this fine work Poetess Bonnie. So many pennings on the theme of love, and or romance(my own work, NOT excluded) are laced with a wee too much of what i call pre-fab spice...This work of yours, however....smacks of natural sweet...and its srisp, tight structure bleeds of sound poetic principle. Very Nicely Done, young lady! ~ FjR ~ ..2008..
