Man now a days fixes even the date of birth, But, the one elusive thing not within His grasp of mind is and forever remains - Death! 'None has claim to be sure, ' - You've said it well. A deep and beautiful poem rendered in simple verse Great work, friend!

We never lose the sight Of Time’s luminous streak The soul’s tip-toe on light Heavenly Grace we seek Fast approaching to its eternal source Keeps on sliding on the beam Ebb and flow, day and night, a steady course ‘Takes with it all the debt’ and all the dreams A philosophical write that evokes deep thoughts and it would be apt to quote the lines from Longfellow's The Psalm of Life with the same theme: 'Art is long, and Time is fleeting, And our hearts, though stout and brave, Still, like muffled drums, are beating' Funeral marches to the grave.

The whole literature in this universe revolves around life and death. And i think it would be same ever. Sir, a thought provoking poem!

Can we go in search of life or death? Or is it bestowed? Then what about those who live in death! ! Is life struggling to escape from death Or death an escape from life? Many queries - Life and death - make it worth, what may come. These are my takes on reading this poem. Thank you for making me probe with ideas on life and death.
