As We Lay In Bed Poem by jackrabbit krjs

As We Lay In Bed

I hold your hand
As we lay in bed
Peacful thoughts in my head
No fear
No dread
Your body against mine
Not a scream or whine
As your soft lips wash away all the lies
Forever are hearts intertwined
As you whisper in my ears that you will always be mine
You move closer and my muscles get tight
Not a single worry or fight
We fall asleep arms around each other and wake up in the morning light
