My breath still lingers
Upon those rocks and streams
Over those hills
I never held your hand
As we walked
But I heard you laugh
And held your eyes close to my heart.
I never did kiss
Those lips of your
But true as god
Like on any given morning
I felt them caress my thought
Bringing legions of joy
Upon my life.
And I shall never touch you ever!
And if one day
I don't hear your voice
And Never see those wonderful eyes
I will still remember
Those hills that felt
A love
As true as the gods above.
