I sit and observe the world
Watching in amazement at its pace
Here to there, there to here
I have sat and watch evolution pass me by
I have watched trees turn from green to bare
It never stops nor slows
Evolution pass right by me
I barely noticed it
I've observed so many seasons
I've seen lives begin and expire
How beautiful the process of life
To witness a million and one things before your very eyes
Watch wars and peace treaties being signed
Natural disasters take away and also give and bring
I've seen the good and bad yet mixing in perfect harmony
So before you stop and complain
Open your eyes
To realize that real eyes
See the beauty in all things
Life is beautifully natural
