As The Heavenly Mother.. Poem by Phil de Lange

As The Heavenly Mother..

As the heavenly mother bids farewell
a cloak of blue mystery seems to transform my soul with enchantment
The day reborn into darkness
awakens a world alien to my senses
Blossoms of rain rest along the icy belt of black wonders
stretching across time
A whispering call from above shakes life into giants
howling with waves of intrigue
Fables of crisp winters fortune gently caress my flesh,
a fibrous army of silver rising in acknowledgment
Fallen angels chant words of comfort under steps
in a rustle of safety to a barren Earth
The chorus of nature veiled in secrecy
praises the onset of fire dust;
magical kings
burning in murky kingdoms
A sphere of light infused with white gold
radiates hope
as the heavenly mother bids new beginnings
