As The Day Breaks
As the day breaks
my world changes
the clouds come out,
covering the night moon.
letting the rain fall
and the thunder speak.
This gives me hope
that tomorrow will be perfect.
as perfect as the imperfections in everyday life.
If there was a perfect night other than tonight,
it would be a dream waiting to escape.
As the day breaks.
