As Our Hands Entwine Poem by VEDA ARTHA

As Our Hands Entwine

Rating: 5.0

It was a cold evening, I was sipping my tea
and the cold was romancing with my tea as well with my lips
he was looking into my eyes
searching for his eternal soulmate......

I was feeling intense cold with his sharp eyes penetrating into my self
I felt like crashing his heart and be inside there
and feel the slowly changing rhythms of his heart
which used to tell me tales which he put on a mute state

I was in front of his struggling hands
the smell of his perfume was making the air lighter
and my heart was beating stronger
when I was there the atmosphere was telling me 'l'amour'

the naughty smile, the tea kissed lips
those strong hands, his tshirt in a perfectly dis mangled state
chaotic conversation, shyness filled in our eyes and heart
I know what you wanted to tell me
I know what you wanted to hide from me

finally when you and I failed in finding words
when we know that words wont be enough
we started kissing each others soul
passion became fire in your eyes
and my heart became your breath
we were so close although we were at extremes

as our hands entwine
we smiled silently
walking onto the rain
under the same umbrella
I could feel the shade of red in the sky

Very romantic narrative poem, well articulated and subtly penned to capture the intimacy of a moment filled with pure bliss. Love at first sight well depicted in the poem. A lovely piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
