As I Wait.........
My heart skips with great expectation when I look beyond the hills.
I see a lovely rainbow so vibrant, so alive, and so promising.
As I close my eyes I somehow feel the texture of it.
The rainbow is soft and smooth as grapes.
The smell is as fresh linen in the month of May.
Oh how I long to lay freely over the rainbow.
I had a dream about it just the other day.
I sat on the dock of a bay, with my feet dangling in the ocean.
Oh how lovely the ocean appeared to me.
As I looked into the water, there it was....
A rainbow appeared, so vibrant, so alive, and so promising.
Again my heart skipped with great expectation.
The day will come, soon enough when waiting will be no more.
Until then, I will look beyond the hills.
Heart skips with great expectation when I look beyond the hills and realize about promises made. You hear the sound of dream. Rainbow appears to smooth grapes. Waiting will be no more as the day of expectation will come soon. An interesting poem is shared here.10
