As A Butterfly Poem by Adryan Barnathan

As A Butterfly

Rating: 5.0

Winged
and dragoned
this flame flutters
kissing flowers
in a mystic dance
that exhudes youth
filling a cup
rich and fertile
with golden amber
open
beautiful
illuminating
a heart
intertwined
in a universe
destined
to burn her out
as she flies
over the land
and floats
above
the ground........

I love butterflies Adrienne and my letter still remains in the letter box which I addressed to God that I want to be a butterfly? Nice poem.

Hi Danielle, I love your poem about butterflies too. I just went to your site to read some poems of yours and came across this butterfly one. Well done! I love the images in this. Sincerely, Connie Webb
