Artist In Me Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Artist In Me

Rating: 5.0

Painter in me
Woke up one day
Wished to paint
The sky - the whole sky
It did not fit
The canvas I had
And I said
I'll do some other time.

Felt like singing
And playing music one day
Wished to play
Ragas of the east
Symphonies of the west
Using every instrument
It was beyond what I could do
I need to learn 'em some day.

I wished to dance
With moves from all
Countries of the world
Of north, south, east, and west
In all the styles known
It was not easy
Without some training
Let me try after I learn.

The artist in me
Is wide awake
He'll never forget
I'll keep working
I'll paint, sing, and dance
And play all instruments
Once I start I assure
There'll be no stopping at all.

Beautiful feelings expressed in a poem. All the sky is painted in the dot of my eye, most of the world i embrace when i open my arms, all the instruments gathered in working when you called me once. All the stars were dancing when you read that poem.
