Arrival At Instow Poem by Susy Evelyne

Arrival At Instow

Rating: 3.5

Parked the car in the rain.
Took a stroll through the dunes.
Sensing the mellowness of sand,
The brightness of valerian;
Evening primrose's perfume.

Heart and soul buoyant again,
I was singing by the shore...
Finding shells, smooth and small
And, through barely a raindrop at all,
Looking over to sunny Appledore.
