Around Again

When you walked in
The world dropped
My heart stopped
But only for a second
And then the world began again

And then days passed
With idle words
And longing looks
But it was too late then
Too late now

Because you tore my heart to peices
And when it almost healed
You came around again

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
