Armed But Not Dangerous Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Armed But Not Dangerous

Rating: 5.0

A-rmed but not dangerous
P-eople of God truly are;
R-ighteousness they hold
I-n fighting the devil, the
L-iar.

M-en and women in uniform,
E-quipped with clear mind;
R-emembering the Almighty,
A-ll errors are left behind.
N-ew hope they possess, waiting for the day's end;
A-nticipating all trials, praying as their knees both bend.

M-embers of the true fold
A-re dressed with pure heart;
R-eal meekness and humility
A-re not going to depart.
S-unny day twenty-eight in July,
I-n faith they'll be victorious;
G-od's warriors will win,
A-rmed with love and
N-ot dangerous.
