Ardennes Brewery Poem by Dwight Jenkins

Ardennes Brewery

I'm drinking beer from a brewery Belgian-made
I'm thinking weird from a brewery Belgium gave
To a world without... Wait...
How I'd like to say 'hate'
But the beer won't adhere, too many graves

I'm drinking beer in a hat stitched by elves
I'm thinking Belgians like to think of themselves
As those sworn to peace
Shell or hell, lend or lease
But the world digging vain deeper delves
