Arabian Adolescent Poem by Airda Jones

Arabian Adolescent

It's this whole different world
Out there and in here
And I can't help but fear
When I'm just a blooming girl

There's a hundred things
Maybe even a thousand
People and places I don't understand
Light headed, flying in rings

But you believe that I can
Shoot up and become a star
Where wishes and dreams are
And that I'll never land

So I can't return
To anyone or anything and expect
A surprise to any effect
But now I know, I have learned

That I can chase them anywhere
There's no time to spare
So let me share this whole new world
Just right here, with you.
