April (An Acrostic) Poem by John Carter Brown

April (An Acrostic)

Rating: 5.0

As the late daffodils begin to
Parade their yellow nodding heads above
Receding crocuses and snowdrops,
Imperceptible changes now give way to a
Luxuriance of growth in every wood and copse.

Sutble and well crafted. I really enjoyed this, John. Love the final line. We don't hear much about copses now but the word evokes a beautiful tranquil world.
