Apology To Dad

The brain is like a battery chemical
have need electrical charge to
breath.
Lithium the essence of cells forgotten
my watch stops.
The bottom of the cage is a lonely
place gazing up to the sky the clouds
rain down plethora on brow.
Beak is fixed just askew
breath fresh.
