Anybody can coast downhill,
the way of least resistance
but to climb uphill takes a lot
of courage and persistence

Any dead fish
can float downstream
but to swim against the current
brings more joy than you could dream

Anybody can follow the crowd
and be just like the world
but to believe on Jesus is like
having a valuable pearl

Anybody can go to Hell
without even having to try
but to go to Heaven,
on Christ's shed blood you must rely

Anybody can travel the broad highway
that leads to eternal damnation
but to get on the narrow road of belief in Christ
is the way of salvation

Anybody can say they believe
Jesus is God's son
but you must be born again
by putting personal faith in what he has done
