Anxiety Poem by mercedes abrahamson

Anxiety

Rating: 5.0

Lands on your skin penetrating layer after layer
Sucking the blood from your vains
It starts as a soft tikkle
Than it starts to sting a little

You slap the bug off your skin
Before you know you start itchin
You scratch for a min

Or maybe 2
You scratch over and over again
Till you get threw some layers of skin
Than you scratch and you start to bleed

You keep scratching regards the consequences
Threw more layers of skin
Now you're left with a bloody rash agen
Once smooth skin now all scratched up

All because of a little bug
You scratch with angry frustration
For after it scabbed over
You start to scratch agen

Now your mouth is dry
And your stomach hurts
From scratching the rash
That just won't go

It happened over and over again
A tic that is just under your skin
Now with all of that said you feel quite grose
You feel like scratching and you just don't know

Well that my dear is anxiety
It's like a scratch a rash a tic that just won't go
It always comes back when you get it to go
And This my dear most people can feel

It often comes back
Never to heal
It is horrible to feel
This is the anxiety that we all can feel
