Anticipation Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Anticipation

I've hoped that my face would appear in your dreams.
Telling you how much I love you, how much I've missed you.
Remembering the words we've said.
A sweet taste that filled the inside of our mouth.
I've dreamed of you.
Wishing I could pull you from that same dream.
Waking up reaching for you, as time flies when your awake.
Awoken from the Summer heat
Living in the memory of your touch.
As your kiss took away every worry, every doubt.
As a light shone in light.
Lost, without regret.
Not all dreams occur when you want them to.
But sometime soon,
I hope my face appears.
Telling you how much I love and miss you
