Anti Bullying Poem

This girl, she’s only seventeen
She has got her whole future and life ahead of her
She doesn’t like school because the people there discredit her
She’s got hopes she’s got dreams but all they do is get crushed
Its like that destined future is just getting flushed
They push her, slap her, throw her to the ground
Them bullies better be hell-bound
Her boyfriend tries to tell her every night will have a brighter day
But every time she takes his hand and pushes it away
This girl she‘s going crazy she’s going off the tracks
“I’m nothing” she says “let’s just face the facts”
She looks down tears dripping from her eyes,
Looking in the mirror saying it’s all lies
Start of the week, worst day of all
She watches her step, ready to call
Once again the bullies come out
A group of six they all shout,
“Oi you the one with the bun”
“You ‘re so stupid, and you can’t have fun! ”
They giggle and laugh, mutter and sigh
While she is there starting to cry
She feels lost and she feels alone
She feels embarrassed that she has to be shown
The girl goes home runs to the sink
She is finding it hard to even blink
Her family knows but refuses to take action
They said be quiet you’re a terrible attraction
She is getting abused she is getting bullied
Her life is getting awfully hurried
She packs some bags and leaves her home
Tries to forget the people she has known
She even has to leave her boyfriend
Something she won’t recommend
She doesn’t know what to do but she will find a way
She has just got one more thing that she has to say
“Don’t worry about things they will be okay”
“Even when times are bad”
