Answering Pradip: Why I Write Poem by David McLansky

Answering Pradip: Why I Write

Rating: 5.0

Out through the pulsing magnetic fields
Are launched the words that I feel;
Piercing the veil of electric clouds
The static buzzing sharp and loud;
Across the popping of the quantum realm
The endless vacuum my thoughts at helm;
At the speed of light, my thoughts are bent
By gravity's warp, cataclysmic events;
In hope that some alien ship
Will note my message, my tiny blip
On their radar, their oscilloscope,
And wonder how bravely I did cope
