We take little notice to these simple things
But to me this is what happiness brings.

Over the truth.
Between the facts.
Without the exaggerations.

Remember when we dreamed with no consequence,
We laughed in irony and threw away common sense.
Cried on each others shoulder in desperate times,
Sat close listing carefully to each others whines.

Look in the mirror at the familiar face
Look past the lies look at every trace.
