Another Day, Another Dollar Poem by Colin Coplin

Another Day, Another Dollar

Rating: 3.8

Another day, another dollar, crisp white shirt and a plastic collar
Don't want work today, homes where I want to stay,
Got my guitar to play, an old piano, and you
You don't know how beautiful you are

Another day, another dollar, crisp white shirt and a plastic collar
The sky is grey, and traffic stalled, a real incentive to avoid it all
Need one more reason, for a stay at home - you don't know how beautiful you are

Need one more reason, for a stay at home

Lazy, lazy, lazy day - you don't know how beautiful you are

Put on the coffee, make a quick call, got all I need, to work from home
Punch in the details, words numbers and all, no interruptions, finished by noon

Lazy, lazy, lazy day - you don't know how beautiful you are

Afternoon free, come share it with me, let's take a drive down to the sea
Watch the sunset, just you and me, grab a bite to eat, maybe a movie
You don't know how beautiful, you are

You don't know how beautiful, you are
You don't know how beautiful, you are
You don't know how beautiful, you are
You don't know how beautiful, you are

Another day, another dollar
