Theres always going to be another day
Tis what people tend to say
In order to console one another
At the time when one is in sorrow

But what they don't realize is that
There may not be another day
As lady luck does not appear to those
Who are mis fortunate in life
For lady luck is a mistress that cant be tamed

though its understandable why people
like to give false hope to those in sorrow
they don't realize the damage that it causes
To ones psyche when hopes have been risen
And another day turns into any other
Mundane disappointing day

Which leads to all hope that was built up
Time and again by those ignorant advice givers
Come crashing down with a vengeance
Slowly eradicating the essence of being
For without hope there is no reason to
Look forward to another day
