' ' ' ' ' Another Country(For My Old Pal Al) Poem by Dónall Dempsey

' ' ' ' ' Another Country(For My Old Pal Al)

Rating: 2.7

Here, held
between forefinger & thumb

the dead come
alive again

grown ups
are only little

this boy
unaware that he is

to be
my father

between the borders
of this photograph

the Past
persists

exists
in a black & white world

that was as real
as ours.
