Animals Cry Poem by Jessica Paige Davies

Animals Cry

Rating: 4.0

Dry tears silently fall,
Eyes full of passion and emotion,
The animals voice broken,
Their life destroyed by a human call.

With rusty chains bound,
Around their arms and necks,
Their bodies and souls rejects,
Dark crimson soaking the ground.

Stomachs in turmoil,
Their hunger scratching,
Minds constantly searching,
To escape this cursed oil.

With pleading eyes,
They look,
Onto a world made of luck,
Wishing to flee for another try.

Trapped and bound,
The animals cry,
Their life a living lie,
Their memories never found.

Who will remember them?
Animals beaten,
Nothing more except to be eaten,
By the corrupted world doomed to mayhem.

This is no tale,
I only speak the truth,
Animals cry even from their youth,
Their loving hearts as big as a whale.

So accept them wholly,
For what they are,
Don't abandon; their all stars.
So watch as they unveil slowly,
Just like a galaxy.
