Animal Games Poem by Travis Medina

Animal Games

A squirrel I see upon a tree
sitting with utter dignity
A bird swoops be and pecks at he
The squirrel runs down from the tree
But the bird does give chase
Back and forth they both do fight
They scamper up a telephone pole at a great hight
Then the fight turns around
The bird flys fom the pole you see
The squirrel follows but cannot fly
and then he knows that he will die
The bird turns 'round to save the day
It saves the squirrel and flys away
For they both know it's only play
