Anger. Poem by David Kiriga

Anger.

Rating: 1.0

The sound of the heart beat
As the emotion are up high
Arising from anger
Thinking fast on how to react

Do I keep quiet?
Or should I disconnect the call?
Should I speak my mind out?
Or should I just let it go?

You keep pushing me against the wall
Accusing me falsely
Of something I haven't done
Or could I be the one in the wrong?
For am also not perfect I tell myself

Calming myself down
So that I can think right
To avoid rushing in giving an answer
Just as the wise man said
Never rush to give an answer
Delay is the cure I tell myself

Anger! Anger!
How will I ever get rid of you?
Only God can cure the feeling
To finally let go of anger.
