Angels Poem by RaShawn Ince

Angels

When looked upon an angel’s life,
You gaze upon an angel’s eyes.
And think upon an angel’s mind,
And creep upon an angel’s line.
You walk upon an angel’s day,
And live your life the angel way.
You fall asleep in angel’s night,
Then dream your dreams in angel’s sight.

You try to be what angels are,
To fly up high and touch the stars.
You try to grow an angel’s wings,
Then try to sing the songs they sing.
You try to do just what they do,
But you’re confused without a clue.
That night shines bright behind the light,
Of angel’s smile and angel’s might.

Is there an angel just for you?
The angel’s angel bright and true.
Do you have faith that she exists?
Do you smile as you reminisce?
Do you believe that she will come?
Will you wait for that special one?
Can you wait for that special being?
That angel though, has not been seen.
